Joel T. a.k.a "Hyper Flexus" has been mesmerizing his audience for the past ten years. He began his career in the Spice Island playing with his brother Joie T., Grenada's no. 1 DJ from "Scare Dem Crew." Four years ago he arrived in New York and is still hypnotizing his audience with his style and versatility with the microphone and turntables.

Many may not know that he attends the City College of New York in the pursuit of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. The City College radio station is where he met DJ 1n2. Their bond formed through their respect and love for music. He owns an extensive musical library, which consists of many clash tapes, which he listens to constantly for ideas. He has an educational and physical background in electrical engineering that makes him more invaluable as a DJ. Hyper Flexus hooks up many professional sets as a living. Some of Hyper Flexus many accomplishments is becoming general manager of the City College radio station.

He is known as the reggae/calypso king of Jam Kam but, is not limited to just that genre. His diversity allows him to spin fire no matter what the atmosphere whether it is Hip-Hop/R&B or Reggae/Calypso. He has clashed and killed many sounds. Flexus has played alongside many top selectors in the business and at many notorious clubs for instance, Club Speed; Demerara; Soca Arena; the Palace; Down Time; the Transit Hall, the Uptown Comedy club and Club Cenegal, to name a few.

He has also played at block parties; birthday/anniversary parties; weddings and banquet halls etc.
